Dear readers of Jaela's Troubles,

After an over-a-month long traveling and struggling, I've decided I cannot update the webcomic Jaela's Troubles any more, at least for the time being.

As you can probably feel, there's still a lot more stories to tell, which I'm all passionate about, yet at the same time, I'm having to even keep this message short since my schedule has run insane.

I might restart the updates in future, but only time can tell. The only thing I can do at this moment is to thank you, followers of the blog, readers who have left comments, and those who read my comic anonymously. It's been a long way, and without your support, this comic could not have gone this far.

Yet 'tis time to say goodbye, my friends. And I'll look forward to the day to present my art to you again.

I know... I should probably put up a travel blog rather than a comic blog. It seems that I've been traveling just too much these days, but... C'est la Vie...

The next episode, I'll try to finish by Nov 7, but it might be one or two weeks later than that. I hope this won't leave you too disappointing a weekend.

As the sun completely sets, a carriage breaks the ceiling of the Cathedral, falling between Erandis and the Flame. Upon the carriage is a man in red armor, with vampire fangs and silvery hair.

It turns out I'm traveling throughout July to a place with limited access to google services, blogger being completely inaccessible, so the next update will show up on August 1st (if I come back as planned). If there is no update at the beginning of August, however, it means I'm not back to the US yet.

I apologize for this upcoming delay, but I think it will give me a little more time to make the next couple of episodes more fun. We'll see! :3

As I promised earlier on Gleemax, here's a portrait of Erandis d'Vol the Lich Queen of Eberron.

I owe the completion of this art to the great amount of input from Gleemax Eberron forums, including the always inspiring comments from Keith Baker, and also to the original Vol's portrait in 4th edition Eberron Campaign Guide (you can see a revised version of that funny hat), as well as the art from Wamusato (see http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=1491893).

This is, as I envision, Vol's appearance at the time she embraced lichdom. As Keith has mentioned, her aging should have stopped at that point, when her appearance was equivalent to a teenage human, and it is not surprising that she has disguise spells functional 24-7, which can very reasonably be used to assume the appearance at the time of her *death*.

To my dear readers:

Thank you for following the series thus far. I apologize again for being slow on the update from time to time and not being able to keep the once per two weeks update rate. However, as my things were getting settled down, I managed to get back on the track of this comic again in the past month and will hopefully be able to keep that on.
I've made a portrait of beloved Jaela as a special work for this week. There are two wallpapers too of different size. I hope you will enjoy the holiness and beautifulness of the Flame Keeper and asure you more great stories are coming along!

Once an idealistic crusader, now a careful schemer with great power within Thrane and the Church of the Silver Flame. He wears his red cloak all the time, and it is said that a dozen weapons and countless magic items are hidden under that oversized cloak to protect himself from assassination and scrying.

Skaravojen

Jaela's pet, a creature called Dragonhound bred by House Vadalis. This guardian beast is efficient in detecting lurking creatures hostile to Jaela, and Jaela stays close to it most of the time.

Starting my Eberron comic site

I came to know Eberron three years ago, in the first D&D 3R game that I DMed. The purpose was just to try something new, but soon I got addicted to this world.

I've DMed several Eberron games so far, but there're so much awesome stuff in this setting that I just don't have the time to try them all.

Then, a few days ago, I happened to see "the Eye of the Wolf", and it just came to my mind that I want to do an Eberron comic myself, since I have the ability, and the passion.

Although I've created a lot of successful stories before, most of them are serious stories. I can move the audience to tears, but making people laugh is my weakpoint. So I would be very happy to receive any input from those who is viewing this blog, and those who love Eberron.

For the moment, I'll start a short series that I have in mind. I will try to update the blog once every two weeks, but maybe more frequently or less, who knows?
